Reg 58028 (Dec. 15, 2025) . On June 25, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a favorable decision in a similar case concerning TPS terminations. Mullin v. Doe , 609 U.S. ____ (2026). The Ethiopia TPS designation is terminated, effective August 18, 2026 . What this means for Forms I-766, Employment Authorization Documents (EADs): Forms I-766, Employment Authorization Document, (EADs) with category A12 or C19 issued to TPS E … thiopia beneficiaries are no longer valid. Employers must reverify TPS Ethiopia beneficiaries who presented these EADs and cannot continue employing a person who does not provide proof of current employment authorization.
