… completed at least eight months of that study or training on a full-time basis; and **(c)** was physically present in Canada for at least eight months of that study or training. ### (2) Section 30 of the Instructions is amended by adding the following after subsection (3): #### Non-application of paragraphs (3)(b) and (c) **(3.1)** Paragraphs (3)(b) and (c) do not apply to foreign nationals in respect of credentials obtained in a study or training program that was undertaken, in whole or in part, during the period beginning on March 1, 2020 and ending on August 31, 2022. ### (3) Section 30 of the Instructions is amended by adding the following after subsection (5): #### Non-application of paragraph (5)(b) **(6)** Paragraph (5)(b) does not apply in respect of credentials obtained in a study or training program that was undertaken, in whole or in part, during the period beginning on March 1, 2020 and ending on August 31, 2022. ## Taking Effect ### 2 These Instructions take effect on July 26, 2022, but if the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration gives these Instructions after that day, they take effect on the day after the day on which they are given. ## Footnotes Footnote a S.C. 2013 …
